Grilled nectarine with brown sugar
The world's simplest and perhaps biggest dessert on the grill this summer.
Approach
Cut the nectarines in half, remove the stone and sprinkle sugar on top. Grill them over direct heat until you get nice grill marks, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
Melt butter in a frying pan or an ovenproof dish on the grill. Bake them with the meat side down until golden at 180 degrees, takes about 10 minutes.
Whip the heavy cream and crème fraîche separately with half the sugar in each part. Then mix it together and divide into four serving bowls.
Place warm nectarine on top of the cream and serve.
Tip: If you don't have nectarines, peaches work just fine.
Ingredients
2 nectarines
50 g of butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1⁄2 dl whipping cream
1⁄2 dl crème fraîche
2 tablespoons brown sugar
